Responsibilities & Tasks
As a system engineer/application specialist, you will have a central role in adapting our products and finding new system solutions for existing and future customer segments. The work involves, together with colleagues and the customer, developing a technical solution and offer based on the customer's requirement specification and applicable directives and standards for the product and the segment. This is done through close dialogue with the customer and in close collaboration with other colleagues within the application team and other development departments within Micropower. Supplier interactions are also common. In the project phase, where the project manager has overall project responsibility, you provide expert support to both internal colleagues within application, other development departments as well as relevant departments at the customer, to ensure compliance with requirements, quality and delivery.
The application department currently consists of 19 people and you report to the head of the Application department.
Experience & Competence
We believe that the right person has broad technical competence, preferably with an interdisciplinary civil engineering degree. You have a number of years of work experience from product development, preferably within a manufacturing company. You are used to working on a project basis with good experience in requirements management and documentation. System thinking and customer-oriented work is something that comes naturally to you. Good knowledge of Swedish and English is a requirement. As a person, you are used to running things on your own. Dedicated, curious, social, structured and analytical are words that describe you.
