Social Responsibility: A Stronger Workplace
In 2024, Micropower further developed its internal culture by appointing a Vice President of People, Culture, and Leadership, emphasizing employee well-being and leadership development. Newly established core values support a more collaborative work environment. In parallel, safety remained a priority during the relocation to the new headquarters, and work began on achieving ISO 45001 certification at the company’s Finnish and U.S. facilities.

Micropower’s product design continues to deliver energy-efficient, long-lasting solutions while streamlining development and reducing time-to-market. The new headquarters supports cross-functional collaboration and supply chain optimization. Additionally, the Micropower Supplier Manual, launched in 2024, strengthens alignment with responsible business standards across the value chain.
Environmental Progress: Measurable Impact
Sustainability efforts in 2024 focused on reducing environmental impact in four key areas: energy, transport, materials, and waste. Energy efficiency improved through modern infrastructure at the new battery and charger factory, while transport emissions were reduced via optimized logistics. Enhanced data collection supported more accurate CO₂ tracking, and a new waste system enabled better sorting and emissions monitoring.
