What you’ll do
As Compliance Specialist, your role includes a broad area of responsibility to ensure that the group meets regulatory requirements and product standards regarding the Battery product segment in the markets that Micropower operates in, with a focus on North America and the EU.
To increase knowledge and ensure compliance in the area, you will work closely with large parts of the organization such as the PMO (Project Management Office), Product Management, Sustainability and R&D units. You also support the sales/marketing organization, participate in customer meetings and with your knowledge you create trust among our partners.
Your responsibility includes monitoring changes in legislation and industry standards that affect Micropower’s products, identifying and assessing potential risks of non-compliance and
developing strategies to manage them — all as part of the department’s core duties.
You’ll interact extensively across the organization and with external actors, including supervisory authorities and other stakeholders in compliance issues.
As a Compliance Specialist, you report to VP QEHS (Quality Environment Health Safety).
We offer
Welcome to a thriving and fast-growing group, where you can make a true impact.
You will be part of the major energy transition that society is undergoing. Together with a colleague, you will be developing a Compliance department with international scope in a culture that values initiative, collaboration and continuous learning.
We believe that the right person has a similar role today. You hold an academic degree and bring solid experience in compliance within a manufacturing group where R&D plays a central role.
You have international experience, particularly in the EU and USA, and have worked with regulations such as the Battery Directive, Design Directive, CE (EU), and UL (USA) certification.
Professional proficiency in Swedish and English is a must.
The position is located on one of our sites in Växjö or Mölndal in Gothenburg.
Who you are
You’re proactive, collaborative, and detail-oriented, with a strong commitment to safety and quality.
Our core principles of presence and responsibility guide us as we progress with dedication and sincerity. At Micropower we fuel people to power growth.
Join us in the exciting journey to a more sustainable future!
