Embedded Software Engineer
Are you a skilled software engineer with a passion for embedded systems? We’re looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to join our dynamic team and contribute to the development of our innovative products and solutions.

What you'll do
• Develop software for Micropower’s Li-ion battery management systems.
• Write and manage software requirements.
• Develop embedded bare-metal software using C.
• Develop tools for supporting embedded development, usually using Python.
• Perform unit and integration testing.
• Collaborate with systems, hardware, and V&V teams, as well as technical project management.

What you bring
Requirements:
• Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience in embedded C development.
• A degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in embedded software development for bare-metal or RTOS-based systems.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken)

Additional experience we value:
• Proficiency in Python for scripting, testing, or tooling.
• Ability to interpret PCB schematics and board layouts.
• Familiarity with Functional Safety standards and practices.
• Understanding of Cyber Security in embedded systems.
• Experience with battery management systems (BMS).
• Practical knowledge of communication protocols such as CAN, I2C, and SPI.
