You will be responsible for creating solutions with a focus on functionality and safety. This role includes designing and developing solutions for battery systems in customer projects, as well as testing both software and complete systems. You will also provide support for new project requests by creating new designs tailored to specific system requirements. This position requires experience in control systems engineering, extensive knowledge in programming, and expertise in electrical systems. Your main responsibilities include:
- Technical Documentation: Creating and updating technical documentation.
- Coordination and Collaboration: Working with project managers, engineers, and other departments to ensure projects meet all technical and time-related requirements.
- Standardization: Ensuring all designs comply with current standards, regulations, and Micropower’s internal guidelines.
- Quality Control: Verifying that software and documentation meet all quality standards.
Your Profile
As a Control Systems Engineer at Micropower, strong problem-solving skills are essential, enabling you to analyze technical challenges and deliver effective solutions. You work carefully and with attention to detail, especially in technical documentation. You communicate technical information clearly, both verbally and in writing.

Experience and Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including power systems and automotive applications.
- Experience in programming and software development.
- Expertise in integrating various technical systems, sensors, and actuators, and working with industrial communication protocols such as MODBUS, OPC UA, Ethernet/IP, and CAN-bus.
- Experience in selecting and calibrating sensors, with an understanding of measurement uncertainty and signal processing to ensure system accuracy.
- Knowledge of safety standards and protocols (e.g., IEC 61508, ISO 26262) for designing safe and reliable control systems.
- Ability to quickly analyze and resolve system issues using troubleshooting tools and control system data analysis.
- Knowledge of and experience in working with Swedish and international standards.
- Fluency in both Swedish and English, spoken and written.
